The Swiss Ball can be used during pregnancy to help relief from lower back pain and pregnancy discomfort.
Sit on the Swiss Ball and practice rotating movements to take the pressure of the baby from your back, avoid getting stiff and sore joints and practice pelvic floor exercises.
Help position the baby into the correct position for birth (head down with the back of the baby’s head towards the front of your tummy) as well as assist the movement of the baby through the pelvis.
For further exercise during pregnancy see also Prenatal Yoga workout session 1 & session 2.
