Victoria Justice was looking hot at the MTV Movie Awards last week. She is in amazing shape. What are her secrets to staying slim and toned?
Diet
Victoria loves power shakes made with peanut butter and bananas.
These shakes are full of energy and nutrients and have no “empty carbs”. The sugars are slow release so prevent fat gain and help to keep her feeling full all day. Tip: use ripe bananas for a sweeter shake.
Peanut butter and banana power shake
The peanut butter and banana power shake is really easy to make, here is a simple recipe:
- 8 oz. skim milk
- 1 sliced banana
- 1/4 cup ice
- 2 tbsp. peanut butter
Simply put all the ingredients into a smoothie maker or blender and whizz for about one minute. Aim for a thick and creamy shake, not a runny one.
Victoria is adventurous with her food. While in New Orleans she ate snails and fried pigs feet. She described it as tasting a bit like chicken – everything tastes like chicken!
She also eats lots of fruit pretzels while on set. Her favorite treat is bacon!
Fitness and exercise
Victoria only manages to workout occasionally because of her really busy workload. Her work is very active though, acting involves being on your feet most of the day and moving a lot. Acting is not an easy job.
When she does find some time she goes jogging and roller-blading. She describes roller-blading as a great cardio workout and fun too.
