Megan Boone plays rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen in NBC’s The Blacklist. Before her role in The Blacklist she appeared in Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Los AngelesSex and the City 2. Here first movie appearance was in 2009’s My Bloody Valentine 3D. She is also in the 2014 comedy Welcome to the Jungle.

Megan Boone stays in shape using the most simple and effect method that there is – basic portion control. She does not talk about diet or fitness, there is no mention of Megan going to gyms or having a personal trainer. Her great shape seems to be down to good old fashioned sensible eating and a healthy lifestyle.

Does Megan Boone exercise? It seems that as her work is so physical she really does not need to do any additional exercise. She works 12 to 14 hour days most days of the week. Before appearing in film and television she was a stage actress, she received a BFA in acting from Florida State University.

She told the NY Post that when she is nervous she eats popcorn, but judging by her size, she does not get nervous often.

She shared on Twitter a Pinterest photo on “how to diet”. It showed somebody holding miniature sized coffees and donuts!

She did not elaborate and some have speculated that Megan Boone’s secret to staying in such great shape is simply portion control.

Eat three meals a day, no snacks (except popcorn if nervous!) and make sure you do not pile too much food on your plate.

  1. Unfortunately it is now clear that Megan Boone is suffering from either anorexia or another disease. She swims in all her clothes now and you can see her back bones jetting through her sweaters worn on the Blacklist. It’s incredibly disconcerting. I think the last thing you should be boasting about is her “portion control” as her positive weight loss regime. This is precisely why and how other girls become anorexic. Seeing women in that state and thinking that’s what healthy looks like, then getting to the point where they eat almost nothing to try and emulate their shape. In Megan’s case, she now has zero shape. She’s just skin and bones. I worry for her. I sincerely believe you should remove this article all together. It’s a terrible way to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

    Hi Michelle. This article is 4 1/4 years old. However, we cannot see any evidence that she is unwell, as you suggest. She has been on TV recently, and done some press appearances regarding wildlife, and looks in great health. Where have you seen these images you speak of?

  3. I totally agree with Michelle. I’m catching up on seasons and season 5 and 6, Megan looks much different than seasons prior. I too notice the bones protruding and I’m concerned for her.

  4. I am watching “The Blacklist” right now .-Thursday June 24, 2021 – and I agree. Meghan looks terrible – as if she has lost half her body weight from when she started the show. It is noticeable enoughbthatjit csused me to google and fsll upon this srticle and commentbthread. Actuslly this is interesting, because overvthe past few years I have noticed a handful of Hollywood actors on prime time shows who appear to have dramatically lost a lot of weght. Hopefully they remsinpredominantly healthy while they are doing this.

  5. I love Lizzy I only want to lose 50 lbs I cut everything and everywhere to lose it I work out 6 days a week no luck. I’ve lost nine pound’s in two and half years. I’m giving my self another two years. Thank you
