How to lose weight in 4 weeksUpdate (March 2013): The 31 Dy Fat Loss Cure ebook is no longer available to buy online. We do not know why, it really was a good ebook.

We have contacted the publisher to ask of the original 31 Day Fat Loss Cure ebook is still available. We are awaiting their reply.

Our own free to view guide on starting weight loss covers most of the information that was in the book, so we recommend that you start your weight loss journey there.

The Original Review by Jon Wade

The 31 Day Fat Loss Cure is a perfectly balanced fitness and weight loss program.

It combines the best fitness workouts with a diet plan that is guaranteed to help you lose weight in 4 weeks.

The reason why this weight loss plan is so good is because it provides 2 levels of fitness workouts, a Beginner Bodyweight Program and an Advanced Bodyweight Program.

The beginners plan teaches you how to lose weight fast. If you have already lost some weight and started exercising then the advanced plan will help you keep losing weight and get even fitter.

MotleyHealth Review

This weight loss program has been developed by Vic Magary who spent some time in the US Army where he learned how to get fit quickly and exercise properly. He is also a martial artist with experience (black belt grade) in both Taekwondo and Karate. He then went on to set up a gym and became a personal trainer. Since then he has helped many people lose weight and get in great shape.

One of Vic’s greatest strengths is that his martial arts and army training has taught him how to get fit in the most efficient way possible while ensuring that workouts are safe and designed to limit injury. Both martial arts and military training are concerned with making the body fitter, stronger, more supple and more agile but never exerted to the point that injury or overtraining occurs.

The Bodyweight Training Program

This weight loss and fitness system provides 2 main levels of fitness workouts, a Beginner Bodyweight Program and an Advanced Bodyweight Program, to allow people who are new to exercise as well as those who have some recent experience with a specific workout to burn fat and build muscle.

Bodyweight exercises provide a great all round workout which anyone can benefit from. They combine cardiovascular exercise with resistance training so that they help you to get fitter, burn calories and start to build up some lean, athletic muscle.

Most martial artists and boxers get in excellent shape with mostly bodyweight circuit training alone. You should be familiar with many of the exercises as some are “old school” physical training exercises that you would have done in school. They are designed to work your whole body, to burn fat and tone muscles.

The fitter you are, the more fat you burn!

The biggest advantage of a bodyweight training program is that you can do it anywhere, any time and at no cost. Also you can continue to push yourself harder, to do more exercises at an increased speed and intensity, which quickly increases your fitness.

Nutrition and Diet Plan

Like all good fitness programs the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure provides both nutrition advice as well as exercise advice. The diet system follows the caveman style diet, the philosophy being “If a caveman couldn’t have eaten it, then neither should you.” Processed foods are the biggest cause of obesity and people becoming overweight, so this is tackled head on. This diet plan is often referred to as a Primal Diet or Stone-age Diet.

The diet plan is not too different from a healthy low GI Diet plan, which is now the preferred plan of many nutritionists and dieticians who advice overweight and diabetic patients. This food plan really does work, if you stick to it. It is a healthy and natural way of eating but does not require you to buy and fad diet foods, you just stop eating processed food and junk food and eat more fresh and healthy produce – just like everyone did a hundred years ago!

There is a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions that cover just about everything you may want to ask. The answers in this section provide many additional pieces of valuable advice. However, if you have any questions about the plan then feel free to ask here too as we are always happy to help.

Video Workouts and Tutorials

There are also many links to videos that explain in detail how to perform various exercises featured in the workouts. These are provided as embedded videos in the ebook plus links to an online streaming site that hosts the videos, which means you get an option on how to view them. These videos are like having a virtual personal trainer.

You have to be prepared to work hard in this program. It is developed by an ex-soldier so nothing less than full commitment is expected. But it works, if you put in the effort.

The plan is designed to be done over a period of 31 days and then this plan is repeated and should ideally become a part of your new lifestyle and weight management program. This weight loss plan is highly recommended by MotleyHealth for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Like any weight loss plan, you only get out of it what you are willing to put in. The harder you work at the exercise routines and the stricter you are with the diet plan, the greater your chances of success are. This is not the only plan of this nature though, see our comparison of the Truth About Six Pack Abs and the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure here. Both of these plans combine exercise routines and healthy eating. Mike Geary provides more information on diet (he is a certified nutritionist). Both plans are very good though.

Please remember that to maintain a fit and healthy body in the long-term you need to keep up with the workouts and healthy eating permanently. This plan will teach you how to live a healthier lifestyle and take back control of your life. Enjoy it!

More Ways To Lose Weight in One Month

How to lose weight in one monthMany people come to us and ask how they can lose weight in 2 weeks, or sometimes even just 1 week. Really it is not possible to make any major changes to your body in such a short time, but if you have a month before your holiday or special event, then you can make some good progress in that time if you follow a specific diet and exercise plan.

To lose weight in one month you need to be totally committed to the task ahead. Half measures will not get you results. Cheating on the diet or missing workouts will result in reduced weight loss. You will still get fitter and slimmer, but you will risk not attaining the goals that you set yourself. So the number one rule for losing weight in one month is: Do not cheat on yourself.

Possibly the best weight loss program to get you in shape in just one month is the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure by the ex-soldier, martial artists and fitness instructor Vic Magary. This system provides “secret” training programs used by the American military to get new recruits into excellent shape in a short time. Nutrition advice is also provided to ensure that your metabolism (the speed at which you use energy) is kept at a maximum and that the foods you eat do not cause you to put on any extra weight, while also allowing you to develop lean muscles to get in shape.

The weekly workout suggested is that you do the prescribed exercises on Monday, Wednesday and Friday then have the weekend, Tuesday and Thursday for your own cardio workouts and other activities. You need to dedicate 3 days per week to this exercise program to get maximum results in the first month, while also doing your own cardio exercises on the other days (e.g. running, cycling, swimming, walking, aerobics, dance etc.). To lose weight in just one month you have to be prepared to work hard every day.

To lose weight in one month using a weight training plan you do not have to count calories, carbohydrates or protein, but you do need to ensure that you are eating a sensible healthy diet. The general rules are:

The diet plan set out in the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure is a Caveman diet – you should only eat what was available in the days before modern farming and food manufacturing. So no processed foods, no artificial drinks (water is the only drink you can really have), lots of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. Protein should be eaten with every meal, but only a small portion. Too much and you risk consuming too many calories. This is one of the quickest ways to lose overall body fat.

The exercises that you must do to lose weight in a month focus on weight training exercises. By lifting weights you burn more calories while exercising and then continue to burn fat while your muscles are growing. Bodyweight exercises are also essential. These can be done anywhere and are excellent fat burners that get your cardiovascular system working more efficiently, get you fitter and help build functional muscle.

Remember, you can lose a significant amount of weight in one month, but you have to be prepared to work very hard for results. No pain, no gain. Although you will soon learn to love the pain!

  1. Agreed. consuming foods in a more natural state allows that body to utilize the nutrients and also eliminate the waste a lot more efficiently. An aboriginal approach to eating, meaning lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed meat products has been shown to decrease or get rid of high blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, the body will burn calories more efficiently.
One thing I would add would be to really emphasize working out the large muscles of the legs and hips. If these big muscles are functioning at optimum levels, you’ll burn more calories just doing daily activities.

Hi motley.first of all thanx for this wonderful website. I am male 31 yrs old 74 kgs and height is 164 cm.doing driving job so almost no physical work but for the last 2 weeks I am doing exercise on cross trainer and burning 500 calories a day and 6 days in a week. I want to lose about 1 kg a week and want to maintain it.so can u please tell me exactly how many calories I must eat to achieve my goal until I am at normal weight. please suggest me some the diet of the same calories .after reading ur articles now my diet is. 3 egg whites and one roti( indian bread of whole wheat home-made abt 70 grams with 1 small bowl of curd or veges. After 3 hrs 1 banana, 1 kiwifruit.then when feeling hungry in lunch 1 small bowl vege or lentil and 1 roti.after that 1 orange and 1 small bowl of grapes.after exercise protein shake of 230 cals. dinner 1 bowl of veges or lentil or roasted chicken or crumbed fish 2 pcs 360 cals with salad. This is my diet. Please tell me if I am doing right. Thanx

  13. MotleyHealth says:

Hi Aman, you are welcome! Hard to say exactly how many calories you need, and also hard for you to exactly measure how many calories you are eating, so instead lets look at what you are eating and the way you eat.

Firstly, it is probably not going to be possible for you to lose 1 kg a week. Although you are overweight, you are not so overweight that this level of weight loss will be easy. Although I do not know how large your portions are, you do seem to be eating a lot during the day for someone trying to lose weight. You seem to be having a breakfast, a snack, lunch, another snack, a protein shake and then dinner. So you are eating 6 times a day and exercising once. I would suggest that the first step to take, assuming that your current plan is not resulting in weight loss, is stop the snacks and then monitor your progress. Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and nothing else.

Also if you are just doing 500 Calories worth of cardio a day you do not need to take in a protein shake! This will result in weight gain if anything.

  22. its scary how blood sugar can be really dangerous for our health. It just means that loosing fat which needs glucagon is dangerous to us since it lowers our sugar level which can cause our brains to shut down. So its always best to consult a doctor and a dietitian to be able to take supplements with proper diet so that it wont cause any harm.

  23. MotleyHealth says:

Fitinthemiddle, I think that you have midunderstood this.

Blood sugar is not dangerous at normal levels, it is only dangerous when it remains elevated for a long period.
Fat does not need glucagon, glucagon is a hormone.
Fat loss raises sugar levels – this is why we store and then break down fat, to provide the brain with sugar.
The brain will not shut down due to low sugar levels, except in very rare circumstances – when a type 1 diabetic has taken more medication to lower blood sugar levels and not eaten enough / forgotten to eat.
Taking supplements is not required for a healthy diet.
