		<description>Hi Micky, laying off the alcohol certainly helps a lot, but if you get fit and eat a good healthy diet you can also enjoy a drink with it. But to initially lose the weight it is good to stop drinking as alcohol is a form of energy, and when there is alcohol in your system your body processes that first and stops digestion of the carbs, proteins and fats (stops producing digestive enzymes and focuses on removing the booze). 

If you have lots of free time then the best thing is to look to see what clubs/societies there are you can join that are connected with your college. If you do not have any clubs at your college then you should be able to get a discount with local clubs if you have a student card.

My college had kung-fu, jitsu, various sports, mountaineering etc. Join a couple, you get to learn something new, get fit, learn how to stay fit for life and meet some new people too. If you prefer to use a gym see if there is a weight training club or coach that will show you what to do.</description>
