Balasana – Child’s Yoga Posture

Balasana is a nice and relaxed yoga position to rest between yoga poses. It is also a good counterbalance posture to perform after a headstand or after a lower back bending pose.

Start by sitting on your knees, breathe in and on the next exhalation bend the torso and head toward the ground. You can stretch the arms forward or turn them backwards placing the elbows on the ground.
