Vegetable Power Smoothie
If you are not a fan of eating vegetables but want the nutritional benefits of getting your “five-a-day”, then our Vegetable Power Smoothie may be for you.
- 1 pot of plain yogurt continued below ....
- 5 ice cubes
- 1 small chopped and peeled cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 sliced stalk of celery
- a Popeye fistful of spinach
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
- sprinkling of ginger, salt and pepper

Simply blend all the ingredients well, add a little water if required. The shallot and garlic are optional – they can be a little strong on the pallete if you are not used to them!
