The New Atkins Diet Almost Guarantees Weight Loss

Atkins New Diet SystemDr. Atkins must be the only man to have ever created a diet system that gains and then loses favor so frequently. Once again, Atkins is good. The high protein and low sugar approach to eating is reportedly helping people lose weight again and the press are in favor of it at the moment.

However, it is not the “Atkins Diet Revolution” that people are talking about now, it is the “New Atkins Diet Revolution”. This new diet is really the same as the old one, but to appease some health watchdogs some extra fruits and vegetables are allowed during the second phase, which is called Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL).

The secret of a successful diet is to reduce your calories intake, as soon as you get back to old habits of eating you put on weight again. In addition to this, more often than not your body over compensates when it starts to receive extra food again, and you end up putting on more weight than you lost.

Successful weight loss really does have to be a total and permanent change in lifestyle. The Atkins system works because protein fills you up, you feel less hungry and you burn fat instead of carbohydrates. Also it is important to eat small meals often, about 5 or 6 a day (3 main small meals and two snacks), so you keep the body sugar level low and keep the cravings at bay.

The New Atkins Diet is difference from the original. You are now allowed to eat more fruits and vegetables which makes the diet healthier. But it remains a high protein and low carb diet.

Hi Susmita, this diet is in the latest Atkins Diet book, we cannot share it here. The most important thing about the Atkins diet is that you read the whole book to learn how to work through each phase.
