Today I started up my jogging program again (I did it last summer). During the year I had to jog, run, walk for P.E. class two to three days a week, so jogging wasn’t as difficult this time around. I want to do this for weight loss mainly, but to also improve my overall being.

Week One:

Monday: Jogged one mile completely around neighborhood. Walked at first for sometime and walked at end due to tiredness. I was out for 15 minutes total. Goal for tomorrow: Jog one or two more blocks than previous day.


Tuesday: Jogged a little over one mile completely stopped for 10-15 seconds. Warm up and cool down walk like yesterday. Was out for less time than yesterday like 12 minutes because I ran more of the route. Today’s goal achieved. Goal for tomorrow: Jog the entire thing without stopping once.

Wednesday: Jogged a little more than the same amount as yesterday. Warm up and cool down walk again as always. Basically was out for same amount of time as yesterday take a minute ran the whole entire thing. Today’s goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal run the entire thing again and improve overall running time a tiny bit. Smaller goals are key and easier to achieve for me.

Thursday: Jogged the whole route again this time a little bit faster. Was out for slightly less time to about the same time today. Warm up and cool down jog as usual. Today’s goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal is to run the whole route a little faster.

Friday: Jogged/ran/sprint(the last part of it) the whole route again. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Very windy and a little hotter today so it was a little bit tougher. Today’s goal achieved a tiny bit faster than yesterday, so I was out for a little less time than yesterday due to that. Tomorrow’s goal: Improve today’s time a little bit and run the whole thing again.

Saturday: Same thing as yesterday. (Jogged/ran/sprinted the whole thing again) Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Did all of this in 80 degree weather, so it was a hot jog. Today’s overall goal achieved slightly faster than the previous day. Out for overall less time than the prior day. Tomorrow’s goal: Improve time a little bit and run (faster) the whole thing again.

Sunday: Jogged/ran/sprinted (sprinted more this time) the whole route again. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Today’s overall goal achieved, finished the whole route with my fastest time ever. Out for the least time of all this week due to the improved time. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to route and try to run the whole thing.

Week Two:

Monday: Jogged the whole route (plus addition to route). Warm up and cool down walk as always. Today’s overall achieved plus a little extra. Didn’t really pay attention to time today just tried to pace myself so I could run the entire route (plus new addition) which I did. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a little bit to new route and try to run the entire thing.

Tuesday: Same as previous day, jogged the whole route plus new addition. Warm up and cool down walk per usual. Today’s overall goal achieved plus a tiny bit extra. Didn’t pay attention to having a faster time again today, not important because in this section of my running I try focus to on distance jogging the whole thing and actually being out longer then the day before. Tomorrow’s goal: Try to jog the whole thing plus add a little bit to overall jogging route.

Wednesday: Jogged the whole thing again plus new addition. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Today’s overall goal achieved plus a little bit extra. Again I didn’t pay attention to the time today just tried to jog the whole thing again and pace myself. Note: Headphones broke today :/ so no music when I run tomorrow, that’s not gonna stop me though. Tomorrow’s goal: Jog the whole route again including today’s addition and add a little bit more if wanted.

Thursday: Jogged the whole route again. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Today’s overall goal achieved. Time was about the same as yesterday which was fine, because I had no music which didn’t make it as good, but I’m getting new headphones tomorrow so it’ll be better :D. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to route and jog the whole route again.

Friday: Jogged the whole route again as in previous days. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. Today’s overall goal achieved plus a little bit extra. A little bit extra time today due to addition of route. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to route and jog the whole thing.

Saturday: Jogged the whole route plus addition. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Today’s overall goal achieved plus extra because I finished an entire extra block (there and back) into my jog :D, it’s a big block too so it’s pretty cool and I jogged the entire thing. Tomorrow’s goal: Jog route plus extra block addition.

Sunday: Same exact thing as yesterday, including cool down and warm up walk ran for a little bit more though. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to route whether it be a block or half a block just add something to it.

Jogging (Cont’d)

This is just a continuation of my other blog, I felt that the other one was getting a bit too long so I wanted to start a new one. Anyways here I go.

Week Three:

Monday: Today I jogged my route plus block addition. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. Distance and jogging the whole thing was more important than time in this jog. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Completely jog the whole route (plus addition).

Tuesday: Same jog/route as yesterday. Warm up and cool down as walk always. Getting my body used to this route and jogging the whole thing were were the most important part of today’s jog. I fell during my jog today twisted my knee and my ankle a little bit, looks like I have a slight sprain in my ankle and just pain in my knee. Hopefully my knee or/and ankle get better so I can jog tomorrow. Today’s goal pretty much achieved, I did stop after I fell and waited the pain in my knee and ankle to go away. Tomorrow’s goal:(If I’m able to jog)Same as yesterday except don’t fall.

Wednesday: Same route as yesterday I was able to jog today my ankle didn’t hurt too badly. I jogged the whole route. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. Wasn’t focused on time really at all, just seeing if I could run the whole thing with my ankle and all. Today’s goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Improve overall time a little bit and jog/run the whole thing.

Thursday: I fell again while walking to the bus and hurt my foot slightly. Gosh I am such a klutz lately! Anyways that was a few hours before my jog, so I was good. I still kept it lighter though, just seeing if I was able to run my whole new route. Today’s goal pretty much achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Jog/run the whole new route.

Friday: I didn’t fall today! Alright so I ran my whole new route. Plus warm up and cool down walk. I did focus on improving my time more this time since I wasn’t hurt or anything. Today’s goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a new block to route and try to jog the whole thing.

Saturday: Added to my route and jogged the whole thing. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Not focused on time at all just trying to jog the whole route plus addition. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add rest of block to jog and try to jog the whole thing.

Sunday: Jogged my whole route plus block addition. Warm up and cool down walk same always. Not at all focused about time again just tried to jog the whole route plus new addition. At the end I did run fast and a little bit longer than normal due to a random burst of energy. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Try and add a little bit more to route and jog the whole route.

Week Four:

Monday: Jogged my plus little bit longer of a block addition. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Again this jog wasn’t about time just running the whole route plus addition. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to jogging route and try to run the whole thing.

Tuesday: Jogged my whole route plus new addition of blocks. Warm up and cool walk as per usual. Today’s jog wasn’t focused on time again just focused on jogging my route plus new addition of new blocks. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add more to jogging route and try to jog the whole thing.

Wednesday: Jogged my whole new route plus block additions. Warm up and cool down walk same as always. My jog today wasn’t about trying to improve my jogging time and go fast it was to jog my whole long route. I was out for a while like 20-22 minutes all jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Go opposite direction and add more blocks and try to jog the whole thing.

Thursday: Jogged the whole route plus the addition of more blocks. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Today’s jog was about jogging the whole thing especially with the addition of my thee new blocks, I am trying to go on longer jogs now. Today I was out for like 20-24 minutes total. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: add a new block and jog the whole thing.

Friday: Jogged the whole route from yesterday plus block addition. Warm up and cool walk as per usual. Today’s jog again was about jogging the whole thing and making my overall jog a little bit longer than before. I was out for a little bit longer than yesterday (20-25 minutes) Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add another block to today’s route.


Saturday: Jogged the whole route from yesterday plus block addition. Warm up and cool down walk same as always. The jog today was about running for longer and completely jogging the whole thing. I was out for a little bit longer than yesterday: 20-25 minutes total. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add another block to today’s route.

Sunday: Jogged the whole route from previous day plus block addition. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. today I was focused on jogging my whole route plus addition without stopping/walking so it wasn’t about time. I was out for a total of 20-25 minutes running a block more than yesterday. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add another block to today’s route.

Jogging: Weeks 5&6

This is a continuation of my other blog: Jogging (Cont’d) This is the newest one that is going to be updated with the most recent stuff. This blog is going to be my updates for my fifth and sixth week of jogging. I have decided that I am going to start a new blog every two weeks so my blogs won’t be too painfully long.

Week Five:

Monday: Today I jogged my route from Sunday plus my block addition. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. In my jog today I was focused on jogging the whole thing without stopping or walking just nonstop jogging. I jogged for about 23-25 minutes today. Today’s overall goal achieved. I did get kind of sick tonight though so I’ll do what I can tomorrow. Tomorrow’s goal just be out for a little bit more time jogging than today.

Tuesday: Today I jogged just a random route I jogged completely a block (all four sides) than added 3 three blocks to that plus my original route. Warm up and cool down walk same as always. Today’s jog I was focused on completely jogging my random new route that I made. I jogged for 25 or 26 minutes completely. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Either jog the route that I was doing before or add to the route that I did today.

Wednesday: Today I basically jogged the route I did yesterday but I did add another half block and another long block. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Today’s jog I felt like I was going to DIE literally but I pushed through it. I did jog the whole thing. I jogged for 27-29 minutes total, so it was a good jog. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add to route today or add two more blocks to old route.

Thursday: Today I went back to my old route and added another block. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. I underestimated how long the blocks were that I jogged today. It wasn’t as hard today because I basically did the same or a little bit less running than yesterday. I jogged for like 27-29 minutes fully today and was focused on jogging the whole thing. Tomorrow’s goal add another block to today’s route.

Friday: Today I added a block to yesterday’s route, the block was a little bit long. Warm up and cool down walk like normal. Today was hard for me I’m not going to lie, but I did push through it and jog the whole and that is what I was trying to do. Today I actually timed myself while jogging and I jogged for a total of 31 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add yest another block to today’s route.

Saturday: Today I did the same as yesterday which was adding a block to yesterday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Ugh today I was mad when I ran though because my headphones broke! >:[ (These are the ones I got three WEEKS ago) So I was talking to myself all flustered while I was running and made myself look mentally ill probably XP. Anyways I did jog the entire route and I ended up getting a time of 32-33 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a block to today’s route.

Sunday: Okay so today I added a block to yesterday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk in my previous jogs. I got new headphones today!! :DD So I wasn’t mad when I ran, instead I was happy! I did add a block to my route (like I said previously) annd I did jog thee whole route too. I got a time of 34 minutes total. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add another block if up to it, or just run same route maybe turn and add more scenery.

Week Six:

Monday: So today I just did the same route as yesterday instead of turning around and running the same route I turned at the block and came down the other way. Warm up and up and cool down walk like usual. Of course I jogged the whole route today and I cut yesterdays time by a minute. So I got 33 minutes time. Tomorrow’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a block to today’s route.

Tuesday: In today’s jog I added a block form yesterday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk like always. I ran my whole route including my block addition. I got a time of 35-36 minutes total. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal go on a random route that is the same time or longer than today’s route.

Wednesday: Today I ran a completely random route, but I was still familiar with the area so I know where I was going. Warm up and a shorter cool down walk this time. I did run my whole route and got a total time of 36 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal add to today’s route and make it longer.

Thursday: Today I added to the route I did yesterday. Warm up and cool down walk same distance today. I ran the whole route and got a time totaling 37 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal add a block to old route.

Friday: Today I added two blocks to the route that I usually do. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. My focus today was jogging the whole route which I did (including my additions) I got a time of 39 minutes of complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow goal: Add another one or two blocks to jog.

Saturday: I added 1/2-3/4 of a really long block today and a regular block. Warm up and cool down walk like always. Today my mission was to jog the whole entire route even with the addition of my blocks, which I did run the whole thing. I got a time of 43 minutes of jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add rest of block from today’s run to tomorrow’s run.

Sunday: I added the rest of yesterdays block to today’s jog. Warm up and cool down walk as usual. I jogged my whole route today which was my mission again. I got 46 minutes total time of complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrows goal: Run the same route I did today and try to improve overall time.

Jogging: Weeks 7&8

This is a continuation of my other blog: Jogging: Weeks 5&6 This is the newest one that is going to be updated with the most recent stuff. This blog is going to be my updates for my seven and eighth week of jogging.

Week Seven:

Monday: Today I jogged Sunday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. Today’s mission was to improve Sunday’s running time of 46 minutes. Which I did and I got a time of 45 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Do a random/semi-same route and get a time total of 45 or above.

Tuesday: Today I jogged a semi-normal route. Warm up and cool walk like usual. Today’s mission was to jog my whole entire route as I made it up and to jog for the same or more time as I did yesterday. Which I did and I got a time of 46 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Jog three minutes at the trail I’m going to.

Wednesday: Today I jogged three miles at the trail I went to on a reservoir. About the same or a little shorter warm up and cool down walk as usual. Today’s mission was to jog three miles completely which I did didn’t time myself though. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add block to regular route.

Thursday: Today I added a block to Monday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk like always. Today’s mission was to jog the whole route, which I did. I got a time total of 48 minutes complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Improvise jogging route to get same or more time then today.
Friday: Today I did a semi-normal improv route. Warm up and cool walk as per usual. Today’s mission was to jog the whole route like usual as long as it may be, which I did do. I got a time of 51 minutes of complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add one block to old route.

Saturday: Today I did another semi-normal route. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Today in place of some of my normal route I added two hills. I did run the whole route today though including the hills, I got a time total of 48 of jogging. Today’s overall goal half achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Actually add one block to normal jogging route.

Sunday: Finally today I did my old route and added a block to it. Warm up and cool down walk as per usual. Today’s mission was to jog my whole route, which I did. I got a time of 51 minutes of complete jogging. My headphones broke again!!!!!! I knew I should have bought the more expensive ones. I need athletic ones that can withstand impact and sweat, because these ones couldn’t withstand either!! XD Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add another block to jog, or jog a different route with the same time.

Week 8

Monday: Today I jogged a new route same neighborhood different directions. Warm up and a little bit shorter cool down walk today. Today’s mission was to jog the whole routes which I did. I had to stop running at 25 minutes and rush home to got to the bathroom, so I did and then went on a 28 minute jog. A break between the jogs but it was still alright. Today’s overall goal somewhat achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Jog the route that I was supposed to to today.

Tuesday: Today I jogged the route I was supposed to jog yesterday. Warm up and regular cool down walk today. Today’s mission was to jog the whole route including the hill without stopping, which I did and I got a time of 51 minutes of complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal jog today’s route again.

Wednesday: Today I jogged the same route as I did yesterday. Warm up and cool down walk today like always. Today’s was to jog the whole route like I did yesterday, which I did again. I got 51 minutes again of total jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a block to today’s route.

Thursday: Today I added a block to yesterdays route. Warm up and cool walk as per usual. Today’s mission was to jog my whole route including my block addition, which I did. I got 52 minutes of complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Add a block to today’s route.

Friday: Today I added a new block to Wednesday’s route. Warm up and cool down walk like usual. Today’s mission was to jog the whole route, including the addition of the block although it was the same amount of jogging as yesterday’s route. I did jog all of it though, and got a time total of 52 minutes. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal add a block to today’s route.

Saturday: Today I added an uphill block to yesterday’s route. Warm up and shorter cool down walk than usual. Today’s mission was to jog the whole route including the hills, which I did. I got a time of 53 minutes complete jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. Tomorrow’s goal: Due semi-random route.

Sunday: Today I did a semi-random route. Regular warm up and cool down walk. It was hotter today for me because I usually run at dusk and this time I ran at around one twenty-five. Today’s mission was to run my whole route, which I did and got a time of 54 minutes of total jogging. Today’s overall goal achieved. I’m going on vacation tomorrow so I might run but I might not run so we’ll see.
