A 4 year old boy who became addicted to bananas has developed superhuman strength. Dylan lives near London in the UK. He developed a love for bananas and started to shun all other foods.

He dad said: “To start with he did not want his Cheerios or Weetabix for breakfast so would have one or two bananas instead. But then he started refusing his fish fingers, pizza and burgers and just eating bananas for every meal”.

His father went on to explain that the boy would help himself to a banana whenever he was hungry and that in a way it was easier than cooking for him every day. But the bananas soon started to run out.

Within a week the family were adding an order of 21 bunches of bananas to their weekly grocery shopping list; three large bunches a day. A doctor ran some blood tests and said that the child was fit, strong, healthy and happy, so nothing to worry about. Also, Yohan Blake, one of Jamaica’s greatest sprinters, is also a lover of bananas.

Dylan has been showing great strength in all things that he does now. He climbs the monkey bars in the playground with ease and can support his bodyweight easily on his hands.

To let of some steam he now does karate and wrestles with his older brother and dad.

He dad told us: “It is a bit crazy, but he is still our little cheeky monkey. Hopefully he will be hack on the burgers by the summer!”
