Apprentice Team Create a New Fitness Product: Body Rocker

In the third instalment of The Apprentice, the UK Reality TV show that sees a group of would be Vice Presidents battle it out to win a dream job working with Sir Alan Sugar, the task was to develop and market a new fitness product. The episode was entitled “Get Fit” and introduced in the new London Olympics Complex.

The task was to develop a new home fitness product. The rules were simply that it had to be portable, retail at £30 ($45) and be designed, built and marketed in just two days. The winning design was the Body Rocker (working title “bum ball”), which provides a new way to work the abs, and trim stomach fat.

The body rocker actually looks like it has some potential as being an effective way to workout the abdominals. Designed to focus on the stomach muscles, it is a balance board for the core muscles.

  2. Many people are asking when the Body Rocker will be available. A spokesman for John Lewis has advised that unfortunately they are currently unable to inform of the exact date when body rockers will be featured on the site. However, there is a fantastic range of Fitness equipment already on the site as well as some great fashion items.
