Spartan 300 Workout – Warrior Training
When the film 300 starring Gerard Butler as King Leonidas was first released there was a huge amount of interest from young fans. Why? Because the film portrayed the story of 300 braves soldiers who were all extremely fit, well toned and strong. Naturally many people started searching for the “300 workout” or asking “how does Gerard Butler workout?”.
Well, the below video clip is a workout similar to that done by the actors in the film 300. Gerard Butler stated that he was in training for 4 months prior to the film to get himself in excellent physical condition. The 4 month workout plan certainly worked.
It has been a while since the Film 300 made this workout popular, but there is now a pretty good workout video on YouTube worth sharing. The exercises demonstrated are:

Well thinking about going back to the gym to bulk up and to get into shape, I did a bit of weight training 2 years ago I put up about 1.5 stone and got bigger but I always had a bit of a gut, any thing I could do to get rid of it? any pointers would be great.
Best advice is to just lift weights, work hard. Start with lots of compound weight training exercises. Eat a protein rich diet to help build new muscle. Reduce sugar. The gut is there mostly because of diet though. Check out our rules on losing belly fat.
Thanks for the advise would it be good to drink the protein shakes are they worth it? I used to drink the whey protein shakes?
Protein shakes are an excellent way to get extra protein. Ideally you need to drink them within 30 minutes of exercising though. Otherwise you may as well just have a protein rich meal. Remember they are their to supplement your diet, not replace. So still ensure that you are eating plenty of protein rich foods.
