Best Selling Belly Fat Books of 2008
This year there has been a shift in fitness and weight loss books. Whereas in previous years emphasis was on total body well-being and natural diets, 2008 has seen a return to focus on belly fat – the prime motivator for most people to take action to lose weight.
As a result, we have seen several books on losing stomach fat rise through the ranks. The top three books on slimming stomach fat for 2008 are From Belly Fat to Belly Flat by C.W. Randolph; Lose the Belly Fat by Marcy Gregory; Just Say No to Cardio by Craig Ballantyne.
The first book, From Belly Fat to Belly Flat focussing on combating that middle aged spread that many women suffer from. It takes the hormonal approach, and explains the theory of estrogen dominance and its role in regulating body fat.
The second book, Lose the Belly Fat, takes a more traditional approach with detailed information on portion control, but also it explains the role of insulin, cortisol and fat storage and the changes that affect people from 30 years onwards.
The third book, Just Say No to Cardio: Burn Belly Fat in Half the Time Using Research Proven Turbulence Training, takes a slightly different approach. Rather than concentrate on nutrition and hormones, it explains how to use intensive interval training, coined Turbulence Training, to burn fat quickly.
