Overweight Middle-aged adults score worse on memory tests

Middle-aged adults who are overweight score worse on tests of memory, attention and learning ability, says a Toulouse University report In Neurology. The report says that a heavier weight In middle age may increase the risk of dementia in later life. It speculates that higher rates of cardiovascular disease and diabetes may help to explain the link.
